Regret: series 9

As she sat,tumblr_nr72t4sup41sqrcdvo1_1280
Front row seat of what was to be the peak of her granddaughter’s life,
She watched as her flesh and blood ended the ballet,
She smiled and shed a tear,
She didn’t just cry because she was overcome with pride,
She cried because she too was a girl with big dreams.
She asked herself why she never danced,
Why she never chased her dream to the end of the earths.
In that very moment, at 67
She asked herself where the years went,
As she withered away with regret and pain,
She asked herself if she really did live a day in her life.
Regret, Questions: series 9
